Bloopers and Outtakes

While I’ve been playing the Emmetts for the legacy, there have naturally been the odd moment that didn’t make it into main story, mostly because they were totally ridiculous! So, here they are: the bloopers the Emmetts didn’t want you to see! There are also a few Fun Fact!s and things you didn’t know happened, things that were totally random and didn’t make any sense anyway! These are mostly from the final generations as before generation five-ish I only took pictures for the blog rather than snapping everything, once I discovered the tab key nothing was safe from being photographed!

You know what it's like when you're five years old. You're sat in your room like Adam here, cheerfully playing with your block table when out of the blue your parents come in and start woohooing on your bed. So inconsiderate...

Something tells me Olly wouldn't have signed this autograph if he knew what this guy subjected his daughter Immy to!

Betty's LTW was Golden Tongue/Golden Fingers, I didn't focus on it much but this tickled me. She was jamming outside the Stadium after collecting the money when mother-in-law Chloe appeared out of nowhere (she was supposed to be in Simberra!) and joined her with a double bass! Hidden talent there, Chloe!

The scourge of Sims 3, Casual Grimmy. I think that twallan's story progression affects the Grim and makes him age up; when he does his costume changes! That's my theory, anyway, and as long as he does his job it's okay I guess. But this one amused me, he looks like he's just come from raiding tombs in Eygpt!

Aha, this was interesting. One day Damion turned up at the Emmett house with a baby. He never married or had a girlfriend (that I'm aware of) and the baby wasn't his (I checked). He also lived by himself. So... who's was the baby?! I reset it in the end, just in case he wouldn't take it home with him. But he didn't bring it back and it was never at his house. Mystery!!

Haha Don Lothario, Chloe Emmett spurns your advances! This guy has no shame, picking up old ladies in a cemetary!?

When Chloe got her award ceremony for reaching the top of her profession most people were there throwing confetti. This guy, however, decided to turn up and protest against investigators. Charming!

Another protest, this time against unicorns. What did the unicorns do!!

I had been going to do a proper scene when Chloe divorced James, but he kept pulling weird faces so I couldn't get any pictures. This was the cream of the crop. Duckface, much?

Oliver got some new skills as a doctor when Ambitions came out. He gave his sister a pill. A special pill. It set her on fire a little bit. What a delightful brother he was!

Daniel. In a towel. Trampolining. That would *not* end well in real life!

This is from way back when! This is Levi, one of the second gen triplets. I tried to install a teen pregnancy mod in my game but it didn't work, so I took it out straight away. When I went back into my game, Levi was like this! And he stayed like this. Until generation five. Seriously! When I got twallan's mods I was finally able to kill him off (sorry, Levi). But yeah, he was clearly the longest lived Emmett, even if he did spend three generations standing in his living room!

But it didn't end there! When I built the cemetary and put his gravestone in it, he would come out and just stand by his grave doing nothing. Clicking on him brought up 'Take to the hospital', so I had James oblige thinking he might come out with a ghost baby. Alas it was not to be, and it didn't fix poor Levi, but it gave me some lols.

Before the grave situation got out control I loved seeing the ghosties wandering around the house. Thomas and Clarissa, sitting under their portraits, trying to kick each other's ass on the video game system. Aww!

You know what it's like, you're trying to paint your sister's portrait when your twin's boyfriend comes flying into the room wearing weird glasses. Standard! If anyone wants to know what happened to Daisy and Dayna, by the way, I can't tell you. They just vanished from my game! They didn't die, they just vanished. That shouldn't have happened with the story progression mod, so it's quite the mystery!

Saoirse's friend Mia really matured as the years went by.

The secret behind the photos! I sent Oliver on holiday with Rose and Hunter, and he was the one who took all the photographs and brought them back to the house. Just thought he deserved a little recognition for his efforts!

Oliver tried everything to get Feli to notice him. He even bathed himself in light. Feli didn't notice. Turns out all he had to do was have a conversation with her. Bless him!

Olly was a superhero in his spare time, didn't you know?

This was a bit odd. My game went through a phase of everyone thinking about the pool when I started the game up. Everyone. Thinking about the pool. Made me wonder what had been happening while I wasn't playing!!

Again, pools. Pools, pools, pools.

Everyone, this is Hunter Diaz. But wait, I hear you cry! That is not Hunter! That is not the man Rose married! Well, there were two possibles for Rose's partner. The Hunter she did marry, and the actual Hunter. I got confused when I was writing and called her Hunter Hunter, when in fact this guy was Hunter. I can't remember what Rose's Hunter's real name was (his surname was Means, but that doesn't help... And Diaz was definitely better!), but this guy never featured in the legacy. Kinda glad, Rose's Hunter was far nicer! Oddly, this guy was Sheldon's dad. Yep, Sheldon was actually Sheldon Diaz, not Sheldon Jones (I changed the name for obvious reasons!). In case anyone was wondering, this is why Alfie called his drink the 'Diaz Daiquiri', his surname is Diaz like his father and I forgot when writing that chapter that in terms of the legacy that wouldn't make any sense. Like any of this explanation. Hope you followed me!

Torrey had a very quiet celebration when he aged up to adult. Just him, his best buddy Hunter, and a birthday cake in his girlfriend's very pink bedroom. Aww!

Something startled Imogen while she was on the toilet. Just hope it wasn't in the bowl!!

And finally, another toilet picture. Chloe felt that this was the best way to congratulate her Mum on throwing a good party - screaming about it in the teeny-tiny-toilet room!
