So I downloaded Lydia Absynthe of the Absynthe Chronicles, as written by Elli James, into my game in order to check that the link etc was working. It did, and here she is! I played about with her for a couple of sim days to check that she didn’t explode or anything, and while she didn’t explode herself there were a few amusing highjinks.
I moved her into one of the basic Sunset Valley starter homes, and she arrived to find that every single piece of plumbing was leaking. All of ‘em. Leelee was not very impressed, I can tell you! I couldn’t be bothered with fixing everything, so I made her needs static, rang a repairman and took her off to the park.
First person she bumps into looks verrryyyyy familiar…
Hey there… have we met before? I’m sure I’ve seen you somewhere…
It’s like you’re the Ken to my Nehru Jacket!
Hank, the commitment-phobe that he is, broke up with Pauline after approximately half a sim-hour of talking to Lydia and the pair quickly became an item.
Naturally, the only place to go from there was a quick engagement. They’d only just met a few hours ago, but it felt so right!
Pauline, Lydia’s foe by default, was also in the park and was not impressed by Lydia’s man-stealing behaviour, even though Hank had also behaved less than admirably!
The two of them randomly screamed about for a little bit…
…Before the gents in the audience got what they came to see. FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!
Lydia very quickly acquired all the athletic points and easily kicked Pauline’s ass, teaching her that you do not mess with Absynthe.
Sigh… If I’m to achieve by LTW you’re going to be my boss. I sure hope you don’t hold this against me!
Hank witnessed his fiancée’s actions and was a little afraid. Clearly his days of playing away are numbered, if Lydia’s awesome fighting skills are that awesome!
I took Lydia off to the salon and let her give someone a tattoo. I’ve never done that before, so I picked Ayesha here to be Lyd’s guinea pig. I did think that she might have some natural talent, as she is artistic, however…
The end product, inked onto Ayesha’s arm for all eternity now, said otherwise. Lydia had a bit of a giggle at her handiwork then headed off home.
Leelee was very suddenly a level 10 inventor, so I tried to get her to invent a time machine. She invented for a day straight and only came up with random widgets.
This made me cross, so I had her vent my frustrations at the fire station.
All better now!
It seemed to cheer Lydia up too, and she very quickly invented a time machine after that.
As she came crawling back out of the time stream however, it appeared that she needed some moral support. I added Hank to the family and together they popped into the time machine and did some woohoo in the past.
Oh noes?! Mother and father are exchanging saliva out of wedlock!
Then this girl popped out. Phyllis Absynthe, who was born sometime in the 14th century it would appear.
Bit of a close up. She’s definitely a mix of Hank and Leelee, although their features seem to not particularly compliment each other!
In order to restore some order into Phyllis’s life, Hank and Lydia very quickly got married so as to avoid accusatory glances from their daughter, when they held hands and stuff.
And then they got dressed up in ‘The Past’ clothes from the mysterious ‘UnlockOutfits On’ wardrobe. I like Caveman Hank. I think Lydia does too.

L.O.L.
I think I might never stop laughing from this! Ahaha, Leelee attacking others’ games is hilarious!
I love that Lydia tried to give someone a tattoo- I would have hoped she’d do better than that, but in a way… I should have known she wouldn’t. Haa.
Hmm… Lydia’s nose… Yeah, it’s not exactly the most beautiful thing. And now that I’ve seen Phyllis, it’s probably a good thing Hank and Lydia DIDN’T end up together!
Thank you so, SO much for posting this! It’s made my week for sure! And maybe it’ll help kickstart this horrible writer’s block…
Haha, I’m glad you enjoyed
Her nose fits her features nicely, just when it’s put on Hank’s face it looks a little odd!
Good luck with the writer’s block, I know how that feels! So frustrating. I hope you manage to break through it soon!
