This page contains links to the mods and custom content that I use in my game, if you want to know where to find something snazzy you see in my game it’ll most likely be in here!! I also use the Store on the official Sim’s website, and consult this blog regularly; it contains links to just about every single piece of CC or mod there is. Super!
The guide I used when I was putting CC and mods into my game is this one, from Mod the Sims. They are super awesome and super reliable (:
Some months back I wrote a post about the CC I use in my game, so if you would like to see some pictures of snazzy models demonstrating some hairstyles and clothes, click here.

I’m sorry I keep asking you questions, but I have to ask – the Twallan’s Story Progression, do you happen to know if it works better than the Indie Stone Mod? That’s what I use right now, but I think it’s causing my game to glitch up a bit…
I never used Indie Stone, but I think it’s kind of based off that, except you control it from the Sim’s computer rather than the mobile phone. It’s more up to date than IS, you can use it with the expansion and stuff packs and twallan updates it constantly, which means you can patch your game without worrying. I definitely recommend it, it totally transformed my game!
And don’t worry about asking questions, I like having comments on my blog d:
Oh good, because I have this tendency to ask way more questions than necessary.. heh.
My NEXT question has to do with the installation of the Twallan SP, because when it comes to installing things, well… I’m an idiot. Luckily, I’ve managed to get all the framework stuff I need, but I’m a bit confused about the actual TSP files.
I used your link to get to the page about TSP, and then downloaded the Version 125 and readme files… but my game just got really dark colors, and the mod didn’t work. I feel my inability to comprehend the correct way to do this has done me in. Are there things I’m missing?
Erm, are you sure that you’ve installed the framework correctly? Like, the resource file is in the right place, and the dx file and the mods>packages? I don’t really know, I’ve had no problems installing it /:
Hm… must be me haha. I’ve checked all that, and they all seem to be in the right place. Is it possible I don’t have the right patch…?
Oo, that is true actually… twallan does keep the mod really updated. Trying downloading all the new patches and try it? Obviously back your game up first d:
Alright! I’ll do that. Thanks for your help! (:
Aw, I see your Auto-WooHoo and TFB mod is TFM’s from Crazy Town. Sadly, it conflicts with another mod I’m not willing to part with. I also swore off Crazy Town after I moved the stories I wanted to keep from there to my blog. I actually have another TS3 legacy I want to move to my blog from there, but don’t want to freak people out, thinking that I’ve abandoned the Charms.
Just didn’t like a lot of the people there (not all, of course. TFM is a sweetheart, but others ruined the fun in that place for me).
I’m sorry I have another question! I have Twallan’s Story Progression Mod, Twoftmama’s teen pregnancy mod and the clothes, but when I hover over Cor’s boyfriend (you’ll meet him in 1.11) I can’t get them to woohoo or anything because “one of the sims is still a teen!” Any ideas? :\
Errmmm… try getting the woo-hooer, you’ll find it on twallan’s site. I think you need that too.
Forgot to add that- I have the woo-hooer, too and it’s a no go
Huh… I’m really sorry, I genuinely don’t know :/ All I can suggest is to make doubly sure that your modding frame work is correctly installed, and ask the creators for some advice?
Thank you for trying!
I hope you get it sorted out!
Now when they say that the mod was obsolete upon new AMB patch.. does that mean its no longer going to work with updated games, currently, and will never be updated again??! D: I noticed this while taking a peek at Twallan’s Story Progression Mod. n n
i have a question about twallan’s story progression… to see if my problem is just my retarded computer. When I downloaded the mod, it was one of my young adults’ birthdays, and when I aged him up to an adult, it said that he was supposed to change to an elder in 0 days. Thankfully I had a backup file somewhere else. but is is just me?
I’ve not had that problem before! You can ask twallan yourself directly on his forum, he’s probably the best person to ask
Hey I know this may sound incredibly stupid and probably shouldn’t go here but how do you download custom content? I’ve read the instructions on a few sites and followed them and they didn’t work =/ I don’t think its my computer because when I download sims from the exchange that have ‘non-official’ clothing/hair all that stuff is in my games.
Which operating system are you using? Like, Windows or mac?
Windows. I figured out what I was doing wrong though
Although I think I might have added too much because now my game refuses to load -.-’
Ahh that’s always a pain! Happened to me, too
The trick is to add it a few pieces at a time, then if you do have a game-breaker you’ll know roughly which it is. Takes ages, but it’s definitely worth it, trust me! Make sure your mods are compatible with the expansion/stuffpack/patch of the game you’re on too
Hope you sort it out!
Guess what I’ll be doing for the next couple hours? -.-’ This should be fun.
When I download the woohooer for some reason I’m unable to click sims and make them interact with each other =/
Are you sure that you have the right version for the game/patch you’re playing, and that you have the framework installed correctly? Those are the only problems I can imagine you’d be having right now. If all that’s fine, then ask twallan – he’s really helpful with people who have problems
One of the reasons they’re kept so up to date!
Thanks
I’ll check it out. Sorry I keep coming here with my problems.
