The Evolution of the Estate…

The house changed a lot until generation four, when I started to focus more on the story rather than changing the house about. Here’s a reminder of how the Emmett estate came to be, with it’s various incarnations and changes. Little trip down memory lane!

Thomas' field, the bane of nearly every legacy founder's life!

The collection of furniture gathered on the grass...

The first building, to shield the neighbours from Thomas on the toilet (sorry it's unclear!)

A proper little house! Well, if you can call two tiny rooms that!

The house progresses... Three rooms!

Thomas adds his gym and a separate kitchen. Starting to look alright now!

The addition of the nursery, which had to be expanded when Clarissa popped three of them out. Note to anyone starting a legacy, if anyone has 'Children's' as their favourite music, WATCH THEM LIKE A HAWK!!

Thomas recreates the house in his picture. Bit boxy, but it was home for him.

I remodelled the house at the end of generation two and didn't mention it. Can't remember why! Anyway here are a few pictures of the house that just appeared from nowhere one chapter!

...From the back... I liked this house, but it was awkward to expand as the family grew and shrank, which is why I gave up and had Theo remodel it at the end of generation four!

And the final incarnation! You can download many versions of this one from the Exchange (see my page on that!). It may not have looked the classiest or the most unique, but it was easy to sort out and was the home of the Emmetts for six generations! If I ever decide to do another legacy I'll definitely work on improving my building skills first (:

  1. WOW you built all of that on no money.

  2. “Note to anyone starting a legacy, if anyone has ‘Children’s’ as their favourite music, WATCH THEM LIKE A HAWK!!”

    What do you mean??

  3. The more ‘Children’s’ music or tv they listen to, the more likely it is to have twins or triplets.
